Children + Youth Ministry

Elementary-Aged Youth

Children in elementary school are invited to weekly Sunday School classes. Here, kids learn Bible basics and experience God’s love in a fun, relaxed and encouraging manner. 

Over the summer, we partner with Mt. Cross Ministries, our local summer camp, to host Vacation Bible School. This is a week-long day camp filled with summer activities, games, spiritual songs, and loads of fun. 

Middle Schoolers

In middle school, youth are invited to participate in Confirmation. Confirmation is the ministry of the church where young people learn about the faith into which they were baptized. They learn about the tradition of Lutheran Christianity and experience Christ together as a community. Classes are interactive and attempt to relate church teachings to daily life. As the youth learn and experience these things, they grow in their understanding and commitment to the faith, and take steps toward “affirming their baptism.”

High Schoolers

In high school, we offer a wide range of opportunities for service, fun and learning about our faith. The High School group meets on the first Sunday of the month for lunch with the Pastor.
